iitala origo
I onsdags kväll var jag på besök på Taste Event i Löddeköpinge. Kaffet serverades ur kopparna ovan. Förutom att kaffet var fantastiskt gott så är serien Iittala Origofantastisk. Jag tycker om idén att ränderna har olika färger på de olika tillbehören och att allting ändå passar ihop.
Designern Alfredo Haberli ska ha sagt:
"?I designed a set of seven pieces that interact with each other or work alone. I used all those colors together so the service will go with any tablecloth. It?s playful. It adapts. Different containers have new and multiple functions. But people dont really understand the system. That Origo is reduced in their minds to colorful stripes hurts me personally? Unfortunately, marketing efforts did not succeed in communicating the invention behind the set."
