Så är jag då inbjuden att delta i de fina salongerna. EASO, European Association for the Study of obesity, står bakom och endast 150 kommer att få plats. Nåja, jag tillhör nog inte på fullt allvar den avsedda målgruppen. Men, tänk ändå! 50 euro är inte totalt avskräckande och det skulle nog bli en präktig skandal om några "otrogna" från LCHF-sidan skulle möta upp och ställa oväntade frågor.

Obesity increases the risk for the development of type 2 diabetes mellitus, and the prevalence of both diseases is still increasing dramatically. Fat accumulation in skeletal muscle lies at the basis of muscular insulin resistance, which in turn is one of the earliest hallmarks of type 2 diabetes mellitus. In this one-day meeting we aim to focus on the latest insights into the mechanisms underlying muscular insulin resistance, and to discuss the impact of diet and physical activity interventions in the prevention of insulin resistance.Bakom arrangemanget står tre blodsockerhöjare och fem som sänker det, alla mot betalning.
